Bunting Magnetics Europe Ltd, based in Berkhamsted, UK, has announced its sales and orders for 2014 broke all previous records. Managing Director, Simon Ayling, explains why the year was such as success for the company and what it intends for 2015.
What was your strategy going into 2014?
We entered 2014 with a focused strategy on increasing awareness of who we are and what we do. Providing the highest possible customer service was a key focus and we are very proud of the way the sales and customer service team have worked in developing those close relationships with our customers. In 2014 we received orders that broke our highest order value twice and this has helped us exceed our target and all previous sales and order records in the UK.
Which product ranges were most successful?
In 2014 our business has grown across all product ranges. Our supply of Magnets and Magnetic Components continues to grow; with many customers seeking UK based manufacturers rather than going overseas.
The Magnetic Separation business is a very important and expanding part of our product portfolio and our quality of supply is resulting in an increasing number of new customers. The exhibitions we attended in 2014, including Interplas and RWM, both resulted in developing business with new customers.
What is your strategy for 2015?
We are very excited about 2015 and already have orders for newly developed equipment for supply early in the New Year. We are proud to be a successful and growing UK manufacturer and exporter and look forward to developing new customer relationships in 2015.
