BASF is showcasing high performance materials for high end design at Chinaplas 2016
A range of innovations demonstrating how high performance plastics materials can enable high-end design is the focus for BASF at CHINAPLAS 2016.
The company is co-hosting the ‘Design x Innovation’ event at the international trade fair, where a central pavilion will feature open forum discussions and new designs based on BASF's high-performance materials for mobility, sports and leisure, as well as building and living segments.
“Good product design has a role in addressing evolving customer needs, sustainability demands and regulatory requirements. Additionally, design plays an increasingly important role in the success of new products in the region, as it shapes the look, feel and perceived value,” said Andy Postlethwaite, Senior Vice President, Performance Materials Asia Pacific, BASF.
“At CHINAPLAS 2016, we aim to bridge the gap between creative ideas, form and function to help our customers to bring great products to market.”
CHINAPLAS 2016 will be held on April 25-28, 2016 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, Shanghai, China. The "Design x Innovation" event will be located at Hall N1, Booth B41.
