Broadway has invested in a second grinder following increased demand for its rotomoulding powders.
Broadway Colours has invested in new equipment as it undergoes further expansion following the success of its range of rotomoulding powders.
The Suffolk-based firm has increased its capacity with the recent addition of a second, larger Pallmann grinder, which follows the installation of a second 75mm extruder last year.
“Roto powders have been a great success, since their launch in 2012, with strong year-on-year growth,” explained Chris Gramlick, Business Development Manager at Broadway.
“This extra equipment allows us to keep up with demand and maintain our market leading high standards whilst keeping the lead times down to a minimum. These are very exciting times indeed.”
QC & Research Benefit from Expansion
Further to the installation of weather testing facilities last year, Broadway has also installed a Xenon Arc tester, which enables end products to be tested to accredited industry standards to ensure their longevity.
Broadway says the expansion of its laboratory facilities has allowed the Research and Development team to “flourish”. Tests are currently underway for alternative base materials, with trials for foams already being finalised. Customers are now able to submit materials for testing, as well as contact the team for technical support.
