Ettlinger's products will now be available through Motan Colortronic in the UK.
Chesterfield-based Motan Colortronic Ltd has been named the UK and Ireland distributor for Ettlinger, as the German SME looks to grow its European sales network.
Ettlinger says its range of high performance melt filters make the “ideal complement” to Motan Colortronic’s portfolio of materials handling and ancillary technology for the plastics industry.
The company, which is based in Königsbrunn, has also named Wende Recyclingtech, a specialist in plastics recycling, the distributor for Poland.
Ettlinger already has a number of dedicated distribution partners in Europe, as well as the Far East and the US for its range of both melt filtration technology and injection moulding machines.
It says the addition of UK and Polish subsidiaries will “further intensify” its presence in the plastics market and help it continue on a “steady, worldwide growth trajectory.”
The range of Ettlinger equipment will be available to view at Motan Colortronic’s UK technical centre.
