Norway-based independent plastics institute, Norner, has appointed Dr. Siw Bodil Fredriksen as an Advisor as it increases its technology focus on green polymer chemistry.
Dr. Fredriksen has broad experience from catalyst development and scale-up, polymer technology and product development from international petrochemical companies.
Within Norner, she will focus on technology developments, enabling the use of CO2 as a feedstock for polymers and other green solutions such as bio based raw materials, biopolymers and biodegradability in addition to new materials for the oil and gas sector.
Norner CEO, Dr. Tine Rњrvik, said that the appointment of Dr. Fredriksen would enable the company to develop its global project portfolio further and continue its industrial success in the area of green polymer chemistry.
