US manufacturer of plastic and rubber products, MOCAP LLC, has acquired Sheffield-based William Beckett Plastic Packaging.
MOCAP says the deal will allow for expansion in its current packaging division, known as Cleartec Packaging, which manufactures a full line of transparent semi-rigid plastic packaging tubes and containers.
MOCAP’s current customer base will now have access to the complete line of William Beckett Plastic Packaging Ltd’s solutions including round, square and rectangular telescopic containers, as well as boxes, inserts, multi-packs and cases.
“With the acquisition of William Beckett Plastics Ltd., MOCAP is able to offer the most extensive line of plastic packaging containers to our current customer base as well as introducing MOCAP’s line of protective closures and clear tube packaging to William Beckett Plastics Ltd. customers,” commented Greg Miller, Co-Owner and VP of Sales and Marketing.

Production from the Sheffield facility will remain in place, with additional investments already planned in the expansion of the product line through modernised tooling and equipment to facilitate continued sales growth. The line of ‘William Beckett Plastic Packaging Ltd’ products will be manufactured, marketed and sold throughout the world at MOCAP’s existing North American, European and Asian offices.
