The decision to shut the Ineos petrochemicals site in Grangemouth, Scotland, has today (25 Oct) been reversed, saving 800 jobs at the plant.
The decision comes as Union officials accepted the terms and conditions of a survival plan for the plant, which would affect employees' pay and conditions.
The company confined that the plant would be reopened immediately and that a £300m investment would be made to secure its future.
